Tubi inked a multi-year deal with Lionsgate to be the sole ad-supported VOD streaming service for thirty feature films.

According to the consensus, Tubi, which is owned by Fox Entertainment, will also add well over two hundred titles from Lionsgate's library to the free service.

In April, the company signed a Pay 2 window tape production deal with Roku, followed by a deal with NBCUniversal's Peacock last month. Following the Starz TV Pay 1 window on the Lionsgate tapes, the Roku Channel will have a brief one-off window, followed by a Peacock one-off latera later date, a second window on the Roku Channel.

The consensus with Tubi "reflects our ability to secure diverse content licensing agreements tailored to a growing variety of consumers in each part of the content ecosystem," said Ryan Lowerre, Lionsgate's National TV Delivery Manager, in announcing the deal.
